Loppet registration is live!
Registration is live for our biggest event of the year!
Sunday April 7, 2024, you can ski a 4 km, 15 km or 25 km loop.
Registration includes snacks at the checkpoints (including Kathi’s famous cookies, and soup at Banting Tent), loppet swag, and the return of the apres-ski chili lunch at the Ski Club Chalet.

World Snow Day: Jan 21, 2024
Come join us for a day of free trail use, free rentals for adults and kids and free mini-lessons from 10am – 3pm! There will also be a free pancake breakfast from 11am-1pm!

Come check out this day jampacked with holiday activities! The craft sale starts at 10am and photos with Santa and candy cane hunt start at 11am.

Adult ski lessons
Introduction to Cross Country Skiing: for people who have never skied before and are not comfortable on skis. Max 8 per session.
Session 1: Saturdays 11am – 1pm, Dec. 9 – Jan. 13, 2024 Session 2: Sunday 1-3pm, Jan 7 – Feb. 4, 2024
Beginner Classic: for people who are comfortable on skis but want to improve their technique and become more comfortable on hills. Max 8 per session.
Session 1: Sundays 1-3pm, Dec. 3 – 23 Session 2: Saturdays 11am-1pm, Jan 27 – Feb. 17, 2024

Nordic Cross success!
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Nordic Cross event! It was a huge success and a lot of fun. Thank you especially to the volunteers who worked so hard to make it a great event!
HP ski waxing service – We want your feedback!
Every year, the Yellowknife Ski Club’s high-performance program puts on a waxing service during the Snow Show and Wax & Wine where HP skiers wax skis for $25/pair. In recent years this service has been extended to include other stand-alone waxing days during the year. This is an important fundraiser for our skiers and they want to ensure they are providing a quality service that meets the needs of our community.
