WELCOME TO THE YELLOWKNIFE SKI CLUB
With 14-kilometers of groomed trails to explore, the YKSC offers lessons, events and programming for all ages and skiing skill levels. We’re a volunteer run club that prides itself on community and works to promote sport and recreation in Yellowknife.
TRAIL FEES AND MEMBERSHIPS
Hit the trails for the season or just for the day. Adult memberships start at $140 or get a season pass for the whole family starting at $300. Only want to go the day? $15 for a day pass for one or $40 for a family.
PROGRAMS AND LESSONS
Yellowknife Ski Club offers a range of programs for all ages and abilities to advance skills, encourage healthy living and have some fun in the snow!
CHALET RENTALS
Our chalet is a great spot for meetings, conferences and ceremonies of all kinds. The space is often rented for wedding receptions, award ceremonies and youth gatherings to name just a few.
EVENTS
Join us on the trails or at the club for fundraisers, races, contests, ski games and snacks throughout the season! Follow us on social media or sign up for our newsletter to stay up-to-date with this year’s event details.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Our club is volunteer-run and has been for over 50 years. We send periodic callouts for volunteers through our email newsletter. If you’d like to contribute and aren’t sure how, get in touch!

The Wooden Ski Award is for long-service member(s) of the club with a tradition of involvement and dedication to the YKSC.

Award
The Double-Poler Award is for adult volunteer(s) who made a significant contribution to the YKSC in the past year.
The Stellar
Snowflake Award
The Stellar Snowflake Award is for junior volunteer(s) who made a significant contribution to the YKSC in the past year.
The Herringbone Award
The Herringbone Award is for a business that contributed in-kind services to the YKSC in the past year.
